Welcome Reception at Paisley Abbey:

 

We are delighted to be able to offer a fantastic opportunity to visit the historic Paisley Abbey as part of our Welcome and Opening Reception which will take place on Wednesday 28th June from 6.30pm. As well as getting the chance to meet with other delegates, tours of the Abbey will be available as well as drinks and canapés, giving delegates the opportunity to learn more about the wonderful history of Paisley in a truly stunning environment. Please remember to bring your camera for an opportunity to take capture some excellent photographs. PLEASE NOTE: This event is included in the conference registration fee and all delegates are welcome.

Conference Gala Dinner and Ceilidh at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum:

 

The Gala Dinner and Ceilidh will take place on Thursday 29th June at the world-renowned Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, offering delegates the opportunity to peruse some of Scotland’s finest art and exhibition installations housed in the Victorian gem that is the museum building itself.  The collections at Kelvingrove are extensive, wide-ranging and internationally significant and include the famous Dali masterpiece ‘Christ of St John of the Cross’, not to mention the exhibitions covering natural history, arms and armour, art from  many art movements and periods of history and much more.

 

Buses will depart from Paisley Campus at approximately 6.30pm. Delegates will arrive to a warm Scottish Welcome, take the opportunity to enjoy what the museum has to offer prior to sitting down for a formal 3 course meal with wine. After dinner, a traditional Scottish Ceilidh will take place where delegates will get the chance to take part in an event that is sure to create lasting memories.  Buses will depart at approximately 11pm returning to Paisley Campus. PLEASE NOTE: The Gala Dinner is not included in the conference registration fee and delegates are required to register in advance via Eventbrite. The cost is £60. Delegates must register for the dinner in advance of arrival at the conference - tickets will not be available to purchase on-site.
